TO ADD a little fun in every issue of Our Wisconsin, we challenge readers to find the three tiny W’s we hide in the ads.

    When they find all three, the readers can enter a drawing for prizes by identifying the page numbers where they found the W’s. Entry is allowed by paper mail only, and every issue more than 11,000 readers enter!  

    That means 11% of our nearly 100,000 paid subscribers take the time to scour the ads, write out a note, address it, stamp it, then put it in the mail.  Talk about audience engagement!

    Yes, readers love this contest. And as an advertiser you likely will too, if you choose to participate in this optional program.

    Knock $100 Off the Cost of Your Ad!  That discount is given to advertisers who agree to offer $100 worth of their product or services as a contest prize. The out-of-pocket cost to the advertiser, of course, is much less than that.

    Beyond the discount, participating companies enjoy more exposure…there’s three kinds:  First is the ad itself. Second is editorial mention on our contest page that describes the prize. The third mention comes the following issue, when the name of the winner appears with a description of the prize and the company offering it.
